Memorial to Fallen Solders in Afghanistan

On November 11th, 2008 the Pier Hotel and the Rotary Club of Sidney co-sponsored the placing of 97 small crosses at the waterfront park in front of the hotel.Each cross represents a Canadian solder that has lost their life while serving in Afghanistan.
