Dr. Roy gave us a very interesting talk on the Francophone Community of B.C.
In 2011 there were 70,760 people with French as their first language.  He showed lots of charts showing the rise in the number of people speaking French, and some of the company’s controlled by Francophones, Island Farms, Mac Stores, Armstrong Cheese, Cascade Recycling, and Bombardier Aircraft to name a few.  French is #2 in language spoken in B. C.  All in all quite a talk with lots to think about.

MARBLE DRAW:
John Leng won the chance of the marble draw but got a white ball

John and Linda will be heading south next week for the winter, have a safe trip
