PROGRAM
Jordan Bower, from Digital Storyteller, spoke at tonight’s meeting about his organization.  Jordan recently did a walk from Canada to Mexico! Over the course of this adventure, he met with many individuals, and spoke with them about storytelling, and the changes taking place with how we communicate, and share ideas.  He now mentors and supports individuals and groups to examine their goals, and how they can be communicated effectively with the advent of the internet.  Jordan also organizes a Prodigy Group, which matches young adults launching career goals with career established mentors.  Over the last part of his presentation, Jordan assisted members to identify current goals of the Club, and how to develop communication strategies that will help them to be realized.  His suggestions around bringing on new Club members, included laddering individuals into the Club when they are interested, but not ready to commit to full membership responsibilities, and advertising and articulating the Rotary code by doing such things as bringing the Club banner to events.
